• May 19, 2008 - SABA General Membership Meeting

  Reminder:  Please bake something delicious to share after the meeting is over.  Items with honey in the recipe are especially appreciated!  Also, please bring back any books or videos you may have borrowed from the SABA library.

• May 24, 2008 - SABA Beeyard Workshop (limited to only SABA members)
  When:  1:00-3:00 p.m.
  Rain Date:  May 25, 2008, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
  There is no need to register or cancel - just come.  But if you do need to call, it is:  895-8744.
  Who:  Beekeepers of all ages.  The workshop is meant for beginners up through those with medium skill.
  What:  We’ll inspect hives and show anything that seems pertinent, good and bad with chores and tips.
  Bring:  Veil, other protective clothing as you see fit.
  Where:  4808 Skyline Dr. in Delanson.

  Heading west from traffic light in Duanesburg, bear right onto route 20, and go one mile from the light.  Right on Duanesburg Churches Rd.  Go one mile to left on Skyline Dr., and then 1/4 mile to #4808 on right.

  From north, take Route 30 south to a left turn on Duanesburg Churches Rd. (a bit after route 159 on left). Go 3.6 miles to a right on Skyline Dr., then 1/4 mile to my house on right.  #4808 is between Mudge Rd. and Duanesburg Churches Rd.

• June 16, 2008 - SABA Board Meeting (all members are welcome to attend)

• July 15-20, 2006 - SABA Booth at the Saratoga County Fair
  When:  daily, 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  Where:  Saratoga County Fairgrounds, Ballston Spa, New York
  Description:  SABA staffs a booth in the Townsley Building, providing educational information about honey bees and beekeeping, and including an observation hive and honey sales.  SABA staffs the booth with two members at a time.  Sign up for your 4 hour shift and get free parking & free entry to the fair for a whole day!
